Bentley EXP Speed 8 progress (first pics)
O.K. Next new project after the Ferrari is this, Le Mans Miniatures Bentley EXP Speed 8 from Le Mans 2002.
The quality of this kit looks to rival that of Studio 27, the fitment of the parts is perfect so far with great detail in the mouldings of the body and a large amount of wiring and electronics moulded into the chassis interior. The pic below shows the underside detail, the dark resin chassis with photoetch parts that make up the diffuser and underbody aerodynamics all before painting and adding carbon fibre decal. More soon. Steve

Veyron,
The colour I've had mixed is the colour that Auto Modelisme suggests, Renault R963, I hope this turns out O.K. As for: Quote:

Super looking kit of a super looking car. Looking forward to seeing this one progress Steve.
Might have to get one of these after Bentley (Audi in disguise) win Le Mans this year. |

Keep the progress pictures coming! I don't understand the part about mixing paint: is there a formula that says "Renault R963" is how many parts this and how many parts that? Or you have a colour sample and figured out the mixing portions yourself? cheers, Wong |

Wow! I was thinking about buying one of those.
What paint are you planning to use for the Bentley Green? |
