Why have the Aviator?
Is there really a point for this vehicle to be out? I mean honestly, it looks almost identical to the Navigator and is just a little bit cheaper. why not just redesign the Navigator and be done with it instead of producing something that looks similar to it. I guess it kinda proves that in this day and age money is what matters most to people.

I totally agree,to me its the same SUV as the Navigator, just a mini.If your going to make a midsize SUV then atleast not make it to have the same exact looks as another SUV that your company is producing.

Re: Why have the Aviator?
I bought one of these last year and it's too small. I have 2 kids and I'm a pretty big guy and it's not much bigger than my previous Cherokee. When I consider how much $$ I spent, I can't believe I didn't buy the Expedition for $15K less. But I must say, is has a great ride, great power and absolutely BLOWS AWAY anything else in it's class. I drove the Acura MDX and the Volvo SUV the same day as the Aviator and those others felt like plastic toys next this thing. 2-3 inches more headroom and width on each side and I'd be in love...

It looks like this is the new direction Lincoln is taking with their styling. I'm not sure how it will affect the Navigator, but the Aviator seems to be getting redefined. Here are some other pics from Ford/Lincoln display at the show: http://kindtimes.com/content/places/...es/index5.html |

I dont know what Lincoln is thinking with all these trucks. The blackwood was a disaster, yet they now are planning the Mark LT Pick Up ---- the Aviator is a waste of space - yet lincoln doesnt have a sport coupe.. I just dont get it.
