Transmissiom interlock release
Recently the ignition switch on my 2005 cavalier 2.2OHC Ecotec ,broke and couldnt get the car out of park? The key was stuck in the run position. The car would start but couldn't turn then key from the run to off position. I couldnt get the key out either. Do Cavaliers have a transmission interlock release button to get the car out of gear. I know some cars have a button you depress. Do cavaliers have anything to release it. It would be helpful in case of another tow. I would appreciate any information if there is a release tab or button, or any other information.
