I'll fix the linked photos later and also include the original of the first shot which I never did. It will make for an interesting comparison.

The problem with the links back to supercars.net is that they purge their images after about 3 months, so if you're late to the party you don't get any cake.

Sorry for the delay - I finally got the time to renew the image links, so everything that was broken should now be fixed.

I also uploaded the original image of the shot of LM03. Fixing the washed out color was actually the easy part. Getting rid of the spectators was a real pain in the arse.

Clickable...

Hey Erik, can you post a link to the full size picture you use as your avatar? I didn't want to start a new thread.

Thanks for the compliment - it was a chore getting rid of those people, but I knew I was really going to love the shot so much more without them, and that soda can too.

That's also why I made this little joking comment earlier:

There wasn't a single good shot of the whole car from that day that didn't have at least one person in it - unless you want to count the one with the row of toilets in the background. I was thinking about editing them out of that shot, but I don't really like the angle of the car in the photo so I figured what was the point.

Here's the high resolution version of my avatar - originally scanned by mini magic. I made it a clickable thumbnail because the image is very large. Give it some time to load.

Much thanks for the brilliant pictures. I must say, the pic used in your avatar and the overhead pic of all the F1's (road car, LM, GTR 95, GTR 96, GTR 97, and GT "Longtail") are by far my favorite pics.

By the way, I kinda skipped over the pic you cleaned out, so now that I've seen the difference between the original and the edits, I can only say WOW !!!. You've done an amazing job editing that. Keep up the brilliant stuff.
