Saxo VTR / VTS

The Citroen Saxo supermini is the twin brother of the Peugeot 106. In top guise, the Saxo VTS comes with a 1.6L 16V 120bhp four, which is modest power, but enough to send this very light car to 60 in 7.6 seconds and onto a top speed of 127mph. It handles too, and I think it looks kinda neat.. especially those lovely alloys..

The VTR has the same engine, but its detuned to 100bhp
Both very affordable and fun!

This is a very good car, and it's surely one of the last real GTi in 2003. But I do prefer the look of the 106 S16 (with the same engine).

The 107 will replace it in 2004, but it'll be less sporty. The concept car "Sésame" prefigure it.

so the sesame will be the smallest car in the range, then the 107, a replacement for the 206 and the 307... that seems like a lot of small cars... does it make sense?

I wasn't understandable
The Sésame is a concept car which is almost the same car as the future 107.
But under the 107, you'll have the 00.7 made with Toyota, a car at 8 000 €.
And indeed it's maybe too much little cars...

Saxo VTS 1.6L

I also love this car! Especially the modell before the facelift! It is nice cute, aggressive!

And a little devil too of you check the figures!

I had the luck to drive it many times, since my uncle use to belong one! Very easy to handle and unbelievable on the road!

Both 106 GTi and VTS had a small fault. In sharp curves driving on the limit the back of the car has a tendancy to react suddenly and break out

I will buy such toy soon!
