Yep, on top of the Audi Quattro S1 and Delta S4 from Beemax, things are looking up in the world of rally modeling.

The more I try to limit my spending, the more enticing the new kits are becoming!

Re: Belkits new releases

Beemax has also announced two rally Mitsubishis: Lancer EX 2000 Turbo and Group A Starion. Not quite as head line grabbing subjects as Lancia S4 and Audi S1 but interesting additions to their lineup anyway.

Some 3d pics of the Lancer are available on their Facebook page.

Cool. A 6R4 in Rothmans livery for the stash would be nice

That seems to be the case. Except that this car rarely bore the cigarette advertising (Circuit of Ireland, Corte Ingles..), but the "Racing" logo instead (RAC rally 1986 amongst others).

Well that's true it didn't wear the Rothmans Rally logo's very often. But I'm still going to build the 1986 Rac version and put the Rothmans logo's on it. I know that it's not historically correct, but it just looks so good with them fitted and bare without them...

Yes. And that's quite funny as Belga was also a tobacco brand.
But nobody noticed it apparently

Oh my !
Just kidding

Maybe I will go for the Corte Ingles version if Decalcas (for instance) prints it.

More orgasmic news. Belkits latest launch is 2 Opel Ascona 400 GpB cars. It just gets better and better.

Yes, I saw this earlier today. There are still three blank boxes on their website waiting to be announced. I hope an RS200 is on the cards..

Sooner or later we will have this famous RS200.

This Ascona is not a big surprise either but I nevertheless reacted like a kid in front of the Christmas tree

Thanks a lot Belkits and Beemax, without whom we, european motorsport aficionados, wouldn't have nothing to build for ages.

EDIT : RS200 announced today Steve

Re: Belkits new releases

Wow, answered my prayers!! I really hoped for the RS200 for a very long time and finally looks like I'll be able to build it. If anyone from Belkits reads this forum, a massive thanks for all of the great kits you've announced recently!!!
