What a Weekend
just got back from a GREAT weekend with 25 ! X's from PNWX.
2 solid days of 4xx4ing, hanging out and discovering Vodka,Chocolate milk and peppermint Schnaps (Damm you Schlud,Rick and antitree molester) Naches is 2nd to none...... 2 days of 4x4ing and pushing your "Hutspa" to new levels while learning the importance of the E-brake in making that impossible hill. I am sure Schlud,Mosi and others will have pictures posted soon. I was driving home and reflecting on how nice it was to get away from CNN,Anthrax,Osama and all the shit that currently makes up our world. Thanks to all, lets do it again real soon....... Claus ps.. got the 3rd at the border, but the Customs officer was HOT ! |

You missed more fun stuff after we split up. Two of us without stock trucks and one stocker, uh, ended up sliding off the trail. Nothing major...just needed to work a little harder than usual and use the gas pedal!
Having all the mud definately made the Naches more interesting (read: FUN) than normal. Glad you guys came down!

Hey Schludwiller where are the pics of you messing around in moon rocks? Ben They're coming. I have a lot of great shots plus video. I was just too tired last night, and I wanted to get a few up for Xlax since he was the first to post. |

I picked up enough trash this weekend to clear my concience about sliding off the trail. Its not like we had a choice about leaving the trail, we just kind of ended up there! |

Naches Damage
I'll upload the pictures later, but I managed to put a nice big scratch from the left rear passenger door all the way to the back of the X. About 10 minutes later, while I was going up that muddy hill everyone had to power up, I managed to bump my right front tire into a root and break off the hub cap. There still some chunks of wood stuck under the screws and I think my alignment is slightly off now. I have to turn the wheel to the left a bit to keep going in a straight line.
I made it up both Moon Rocks and Funny Rocks again in my stock X, even with the mud! You doubters can just shove off now! :finger: j/k Too bad no one got pictures though... |

Tweeked steering
I tweeked my steering on that one too Mudphud! The X tracks staright down the road okay but the steering wheel is tipped about 35 degrees to the left! That is also where I popped the bead on the tire by jamming it into a root! Probably the same root that shredded yours and Chad's hub caps! I'll get my alignment Wednesday!

When we don't have as many trucks, we'll do the Naches Wagon trail which is a great run. It's SUV raiting is a 7 (and an Xterra is just short enough to negotiate through the turns), but goes up to at least a 8 when it's wet.
