power to manual

i have a 1998 chevrolet blazer and my power seats have gone bad so im thinking on just going to a junk yard and getting a manual seat has anyone done this switch is it fairly easy? hard? or medium?

Re: power to manual

Remove two bolts and two nuts, unplug the electrical harness and the entire seat assembly can be removed. Make sure the seat you get from the bone yard has the manual seat tracks, then you can swap your original seat onto the new tracks. Half hour maximum to do the job.
