How to get rid of speed limiter?

Need info on a chip or ECU that does away with the speed limiter for my 01 Nissan SE Frontier VG33

I looked long and hard, and I think the only way to do it is a device that connects between the computer and the I/O, I remember it was expensive, but not who made it. I talked to somebody who works on this sort of thing, and he suspects that power to the fuel pump is being cut. One of these days I might run a wire from there to a voltmeter in the cab, and get 'er up to 95 mph to see if this is the case. If that is what is going on, it might not be too hard to defeat the speed limiter.
