Never deal with Sports Car Galley of Beaver Falls, PA
I was royally screwed by the Sports Car Gallery of Beaver Falls, PA and I just saw about a dozen more complaints about them online. They advertised a 1965 Shelby clone, immaculate. They sweet talked me over the phone. When the car arrived, it had a bent frame, bondo, rear end collision fix-up, rust inside out and it was a "C" code and not a GT, like it was stated online and in the paperwork. The Distrcit Attorney in PA told me that the DA Office has already come down on that guy (Mr. Tomchik, the owner) several times for false advertisement. Now he does clever ads to get away from reprucussions. That guy is a liar and a schmuk and so is his wife, who convinced me as well to buy the car over the phone. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! They should be prosecuted from the amount of damage they're doing in the classic car market!

Re: Never deal with Sports Car Galley of Beaver Falls, PA
Well, I googled them and this complaint thread shows up as the second link for them........ nothing sucks like bad internet publicity.........
Personally I would like to have them join AF and post their side (excuse) in this forum. Their website does provide this disclaimer, which is common sense but frankly lets them off the hook for pretty much nay claim they may make about a car. to the determent of any customer they may have. Frankly, if I must do all my own research and inspection on a car why don't I just buy privately and cut-out the expensive middlemen like them? LEGAL DISCLAIMER: Vehicle descriptions are for informational and narrative purposes only. Information regarding serial numbers, engine numbers, trim numbers, and other codes is guaranteed to be the ones found on the vehicle. Every effort is made to accurately describe a vehicle but Sports Car Gallery cannot guarantee accuracy to your satisfaction. Prospective purchasers are urged to conduct their own due-diligence including a physical examination before purchase. BTW was this the Mustang in question? http://www.sportscargallery.com/1965...eed%20Conv.htm |

One of the cardinal rules the "net" has put to the wayside is NEVER buy ANYTHING "sight unseen". If you MUST buy something you can't take the time or effort to go look at, at least talk to others NOT selling it, that have knowledge of either the product or seller or both...
Screw me once? Shame on you! Screw me twice? SHAME ON ME!! Jim |

When you buy goods such as an automobile unseen and not carefully inspected before closing the deal then all you are doing is looking for trouble and have no one to blame except yourself. Good twist and interesting variation of: Screw me once. Shame on me. Screw me twice. Shame on you.
