These are real cars too, not miniatures.

Ok first come here and live in the states and then talk about liking SUV's. They are so freaking huge that you cannot see anything around them. At stoplights their headlights shine on both your side and center mirrors. All the soccer moms that drive them have no concept of Yield etc....

BTW in case i was not clear I HATE SUV's.

Speaking of big SUV's, i saw a Cadillac Escalade today for the first time, which is pretty funny since i was just asking about it yesterday on the forum saying i'd never seen one. There arent that many Caddy's in London and i can safely say im sure thats one of a handful Escalades there must be in the UK... my impressions werent great... at first i was like what the hell is that? it was pretty big and imposing, but the styling was so blunt and the rear lights look very, very cheap... it was red so everyone was looking at it.. it has presence, but it just doesnt make the impression that i'd ever want to be associated with...

oh, and that Ford Excursion is disgusting.

Thanks!

WEll, a good word for the excursion is DEAD! THats right; its being pulled, because it wasn't profitable. Thanks GOD, says I.
I also hate SUV's. Last week, we had a snow storm, and the only vehicle I saw in the ditch was an SUV.
Very few ppl need an SUV; and those who do, usually buy vans or trucks, they are better for their purpose.
I find, doing carryouts of TV's and furniture at my job, that SUV's suck at getting stuff in. Espcecially the big ones; they have NO room, it seems. I have the best luck with wagons, especially taurus and Hyundai's; they seem to be shaped right.

Back on thread topic:
The Veyron only has 987hp over here, but thats 1001 hp in Europe. IT will probably be marketed (sic) as 1001hp here, to, though.
I find it to a very good car, with ample power and 4wd. I find it hard to judge size based on pictures; I need somethign to really reference it against, like a person. I am hoping it will remain under 3000lbs, hopefully closer to 2300, even though that is unlikely.
The quad turbo setup is a definate bonus, as they are small, so their RPM's will be fairly linear, making for less turbo lag.
I also find the interior to be very nice, I believe it will be widely praised now and in the future.

Hopefully, someday I will own one. Cmon, Santa!

PS: here is a link to the cadillac escalade.
