Question 87 vette digital dash question

On my Corvette the digital dash works but only the left side lights up. at night I have to use a flashlight to read the guages. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it expensive?

i know they sell special meters for testing digital dash components, and i believe midamerica sells them. but, if you spend the money on a meter only to find a bad dash circuit, you'll have to send it out to be repaired anyways.

you might want to find a place that specializes in reparing them or exchanging them. search on line.

I have taken apart my dash. There are several light bulbs that produce the light to read the dashboard.
You need to take it to someone to replace the light bulbs. Jose.

How easy are they to replace? Is it better to remove the dash?

Re: 87 vette digital dash question

There are 3 parts to the cluster. If 1 is working and the others are not, then you may need to have the non working part rebuilt. Do a search on ebay and you will find a guy who rebuilts the LED's for $149.00. search for digital dash cluster.

$125???

That doesn't sound right. I'm guessin' that's USED, not rebuilt. 125 is way too cheap.
