Both bone stock? Nope, 99 GT should walk it.

Re: 5.0 vs 99 GT 4.6

But how many "Bone Stock" 5.0's are there, lol. I know... everyone says theirs is, but usually it's not. Some people I know consider "bone stock" not touching the enigne, so they can have 3.73s, headers back exhaust, upgraded clutch, but still are "stock".

Re: 5.0 vs 99 GT 4.6

5.0 mustangs completely stock are slow, slow as a Kia spectra. Not kidding.

They go in the 9s 0-60 mph.

A friend has a bone stock one, and he get walked by the cheapest car in mexico, a chevrolet chevy, thats what its called, 1.6 liter producing 80 horsepower on a light chassi.

Don't they have something like 300lb. of torque, I've seen stock ones, and they are pretty damn fast. I raced a stock one, and I didn't have a decisive advantage til 3rd. I have an 02 Camaro z28

Re: 5.0 vs 99 GT 4.6

No Im not thinking of the 4cyl mustangs. My friend which lives 1 minute away from me has a GT, and I swear to god, he doesent see the quarter mile line in less than 18.5 seconds, maybe his engine is fucked up.

BTW im in Mexico GDL (5440 ft above sea level) that would equal a 17.0 flat at sea level.

Even some of the most hardend believe Mustangs are slow poeple her e on AF would even agree a 5.0 Stang if running on all cylinders will pull a 16second 1/4 mile.

Just cause your friend has one dead beat ass 5.0 your gonna base your opinion on that...
