dirt or asphalt?..rocket chassis is a very big name in dirt track racing, and for asphalt their are many different chassis builders to name a couple, lefthander, hamke and alot of racers have individual people build them.

Re: Need help
I suggest starting with a used chassis for two reasons:
1. somebody has already sorted the car out and identified any problems with it and probably rectified them. 2. It's cheaper and there's less monetary commitment if you find out this racing thing isn't really for you. 3. It's cheaper and when you wreck it, you won't be out as much. www.racingjunk.com has a lot of used oval track cars.

Re: Need help
Would help to know your location . If you have a local track , simply go there and ask one of the racers . I'm sure they'd be glad to help .
