Car Stereo Probs

Hello,

I have a 2002 L200 with the sport package. I left my car stereo on too long one night while camping and drained the battery. The stereo is the stock 6 disc changer (in dash) with tape deck and AM/FM stereo. Because the battery was drained, I had to jump my car. Since then, the stereo has no power. I checked the fuse and it's fine. This is the only electrical feature that is not working.

Is there more than one fuse? Can someone tell me what color the stereo lead wire(s) that come off the battery are?

Any help/advice is appreciated!

Chris

Re: Car Stereo Probs

there are two power feeds(fuses) to the radio one is always hot for preset memory, the other is hot with key on only to power the radio. you radio may think it was stolen since it lost battery power and is locked out as a theft deterrent, if this is so, your saturn dealership should be able to provide you with the unlock procedure.
