1979 eldo super high idle will not kick down
Hello
I was hoping someone could tell me what possibly is keeping the engine at a high RPM after starting? It will not kick down to idle and it must be at like 3000 rpm I am affraid to put back into gear as it just jumps and will not go down even in gear. any help would be appreciated. 1979 Eldo |

Usual suspect is a bad idle speed control motor, you will see it on the l/s of the linkage on the intake manifold.
