acceleration

When driving my 325xi with steptronic, i keep wonering how to get the fastest acceleration- do you:

1. use the steptronic manual mode
2. drive it in "drive" and floor it
3. drive it in "sport" and floor it

also, when i say floor it, should i press the pedal all the way down, through the clicker thing, too, or should i just press the pedal up to the clicker?

also, i have heard that pushing the dsc button does not really turn off dsc completely- it this true? what does turning it off do for aggressive drivers?

thanks so much for reading---

I think all the sport mode does is let you hit higher rpms, as well as downshifting sooner when you press the pedal harder... and manual just lets you control it all the way up to hittin the rev limit..

dont think it changes the amount of gas / air into the engine...
