As a reference the tyre from Ferrari 340 was choosen.


Just started to create this pattern in 3D.

The grooves were a bit widened according to a scale and for durability of a silicone mold.

Have added a tread pattern on the sides of tyres.


The miniature of Iohann Schmidt was finished. I remind that this work was done by Ella Mazurenko.

Thank you! Regarding of painting of Mr.Schmidt I've not decided yet. Probably I will try to paint him by myself. So, since you are remembered this project I will show you a little progress on it. I have corrected posture of the figure. It become more straight. To achieve this the figure was placed in boiling water for half a minute and then was straightened by fingers.

Now I am continued to work with the 3D model of the engine. Not finished yet.

Update. Not so much have done but anyway. I'm trying to work everyday.
At the moment I modify parts of the exhaust system for the production.


It needs to add an ignition system, a cooling system, etc. The engine now looks like this.


Also I have made some corrections of the Iohann Schmidt figure. The skull should be more round and wide. I use a Tamiya putty.

The outlet is ready. May be I will add some brackets and spacers in future.

Not so big progress, but the work is going on. I have add the stiffeners between the frame and the platform.
