some "exotics" citroen (photos inside)

let's begin with the M35

it's a coupé based on the ami 8
ity's the first attempt by citroen to maka a car with a rotary engine...you can consider it like a prototype of the GS birotor, and it had hydraulics suspensions !

It was sold as a prototype to only 250 persons...actually it's a very rare car...

Look at the mess of cables under that bonnet, typical Citroën. And those green suspension "things". They are really in weird places there. I've actually never seen a picture of the SM's engine.

thanks vick for bringing a bit of life into the Citroën area here

That "mess of cables" is typical for nearly ANY car of the 1970s.

I've never seen the road version of the 4TC. When it competed in the Monte in 1986, the Group B BX4TC was not a match for the 205T16 and Delta S4's. I think they only competed in a couple of rallies. After that Citroën focused more in Rally Raid's based on the ZX. Well it looked like a ZX, apart from front an rear lamps everything must have been different I think.

btw my father in law used to have a BX16TRS. Sweet drivign car with odd instrumentation panel. :alien:

Well, I can tell you that cabling and wiring of my ZX is still looking like a mess and that's build mid '90s.

But nowadays things have improved as I could see under the bonnet of a Xsara and C-5.

sorry Stefanel1, I don't have pictures of my ZX but it's a "Phase II" 3 doors, 1.9D in Tentation trim. A last series one from 1997 with aircon. Although the engine is a bit weak - 68bhp - to deal with the aircon.

Sorry Vick, back to your topic.
That SM looks kinda weird. I like the 2 doors better, but still a stunning car!
