!!- Roadmaster 95 washed engine HELP -!!
Hey guys, i recently washed the engine on my roadmaster 95, after that, the service engile light came on, and it started shifting hard from 1st to 2nd,
it shakes when stopped in gear, and sometimes in N and P, i also noticed the car seems to rev up when i shift it from D to N on stops, then when shifting back to D to move again, the trans bumps, sometimes a liitle too hard, please help, it hurts to drive my car like this, all of you that love your cars know what im saying, again please help and thanx!!! |

Welcome to AF. And the code is? Sounds like you have gotten water in the ign system and it should dry up, leave the hood open in a warm area for a while. Don't drive with this misfire, you will ruin the cat.

oh thanx for the advice, i havent had it scanned, but this happend like 2 weeks ago, i reduced the driving in it, hoping it would get better because thats what everyone told me, i just had to let it dry, but so far, not much change, i've been told to spray my electric parts with wd40, but not too zure!!

If you still have a misfire look for water under the cap, the coil is in the cap correct, look at that also. and /or plug wire connections.

I was thinking about replacing the sparkplugs and wires, see if dat made any change, would it be too hard to get to them?? it doesnt look too accesible !!
