Re: Could i know how old your car is?

ok, i will be the first one.

I have a KIA K3, dark cherry, just a half of year old. No repair till now, but car paint is waiting for repair. However, i got to know the color of White about the same car brand and model that is easier to be broken.

Re: Could i know how old your car is?

'02 VW Golf- 13 years old and 132,000 miles on it.

I wish it was a GTI but it's still a great car. 5 speed manual, fun to drive. So far all I've had to do is replace all the belts, none of them failed, but I just didn't like the look of them, so I figured it was time. Right now I'm considering (and dreading) doing the ball joints. They look a bit worn, no surprise considering my hard driving style. That's about it, my Golf has been good to me for the 3 years I've had it. Also, surprisingly good in snow.

Golf series are considered to be the best sellers among VW other series and have seven-gen till now. Yes, it is relly a good car. A good car condition is based on drivers' style and car maintenance, i think. Well, so, it is smart for you to check or replace the auto parts in time. Good luck.
Many thanks for you to share your car information!

Re: Could i know how old your car is?

I don't count normal maintenance stuff like cam timing belts, spark plugs, or aftermarket HiPo replacement parts, etc.
1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo. 107,000 miles. Everything has been replaced at least once.
1993 Mercury Cougar. 53,000 miles. Lower ball joints, lower A-arm front strut bushes.
2003 Lotus Esprit V8. 38,000. Upper ball joints, muffler, water pump, rear brake pads.

I have 3 cars:
2011 Mercedes Benz GLK 350 4Matic. No repairs except for normal maintenance since new. Has 48K on it.
2015 Mazda CX5. Has 30K on it and no repairs.
1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Town Sedan with 72K on it. Have repaired valve gear and replaced carb since I got it 3 years ago.

Hi. I love Lotus. To be honest, i just know the brand but it is with a long history. How many seconds does your V8 speed up to 100km/h?

Wow! Fantastic! You have really good cars and maintained them well. I like people who really care about cars like you. I like Mercedes Benz GLK 350 4Matic and 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster. One of my friend had 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster but he sold it many years ago.

4 seconds or so. Installed an intercooler kit and upped the turbocharger boost--so who knows?

I REALLY WANT TO DRIVE!!! For me, my next goal is to add turbo into my car or change a car with turbo.

Re: Could i know how old your car is?

A more technically helpful auto forum in the US is usually marque specific. Corvette forums, Mustang forums, etc.
