Seriously, I would take a Bugatti EB 18/3 or /4 Veyron, the one that can do 406 km/h.

Bugatti...my new obsession
ahh...yes the quad turbo, 8.0 liter 1001 din HP V16 engined Bugatti EB16/4 veyron with leather seats, chrome everywhere, styling to kill for,and oh did I mention over 900 ft./Lb torque?! Launching like a fighter jet off the line....more powerful than any non tuner production car ever made, moreelegant than the EB110 ever could dream to be....I WANT ONE!!!!! It goes very well with Bugatti tradition....in the words of the immortal Ettore Bugatti ,"nothing is too beautiful; nothing is too expensive." What a statement....and what a car.

a million bucks is a lot to blow on a car, and anything other than a mclaren is almost not worth it. The bugatti is close, and it may be a much faster car, but it will doubtfully ever be what the mclaren was to the enthusiast public. Gimme a Mosler mt900tt, and blow the rest buying vettes for my friends and fraternity bros.
lol

ACTUALLY.....
w engines are a vw thing... vw owns bugatti, and the w will first appear in a passat... a w8 w/280somethin hp... also... f1s are going roughly 900k used... that is a number from mclaren... thas why they arent makin more... and...i would buy a jag xj220, just cuz i like the style, but first choice is the bugatti quad turbo... |

No-brainer for me...
This one would be surprisingly very easy for me: Koenigsegg CC.
However, I did just check a web site with info on it, and I was surprised that it was so cheap. I had thought that it rang in at about $800K, but to my surprise its base price is listed as $268,674 - much cheaper than I thought! |

I too am very surprised by the CC's low price. The mt900tt also is 260K, but the koenigsegg has much better build quality... It weighs less due to its more intensive use of carbon fiber, and has 5 more hp than the mosler. its close, but I'd have to lean towards the koenigsegg too now... despite its somewhat odd profile. Its exactly the opposite of the f50... any viewpoint normal to one of the planes of the car gives weird impressions, but slightly offset ones are breathtaking....

Agreed with the CC impressions from slightly off-set angles. Question: what's your info source on the the Koenigsegg having better build quality than the Mosler? I'm not questioning you, by the way, I'm just curious where you found this out. With a guy like Mosler, I would think the build quality of his automobiles would be the best in the business.
For me, among those great looks, light carbon fiber body, etc., I like the versatility of the design that matches a 0 to 60 time of 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 242 mph. To me that says excellent traction, very wisely spaced gears, low drag coefficient, and a bunch of other similar attributes that stand as positive testament to smart design. This is just a winning car. |

you can live in a car, but u can't drive a house
when the whole world starts thinking like that (morris minor and a house).. there will be no more little kids starting blankly at lamborghini countachs and then growing up to conjure the next big thing in the world of transporation. Most people already think that way, but those people don't come to this forum. danman www.danmanv8.com
