'96 Del Sol radio antenna
i just purchased this car and it runs pretty well. The guy I bought if from told me the stereo (nice aftermarket Sony) worked except that the radio didn't come in well because the guy he bought it from didn't hook up the antenna.
When I got it home I pulled up the antenna from its hiding place and now I get all the stations I could ever want. I'm like 'what's up with that?' Perhaps this is a power antenna and that's why it doesn't work (come out by itself) It's the S model Del Sol, so I don't know if it came with a power antenna or not. If not, is it wired for a power antenna? Anyone know? |

I believe some had power but I know mine doesn't. I just leave it out.

Re: '96 Del Sol radio antenna
Thanks! I just checked and mine isn't power either. It'd be kinda cool if it was though. I just replaced a power antenna in an altima and at the u-pull it the antenna cost me $10.00. if the wiring is already in place on the del sol, maybe I'll look for an antenna.
