strut removal altima
What tools do i need to change the front strut mount on a 99 altima. I know i need a spring compressor. I am more concerned about the socker sizes, and depth. I assume 17 and 14 mm will prevail. Also, do i have to remove the brake, or are the sterring knuckle/strut bolts accssable without removing the brakes. Do i need to break any joints? I dont have a fork to knock out rod ends or anything like that. I hope i can just removed the main sturt bolts and slide her out.

Re: strut removal altima
you dont need to remove any joints or the brakes. 3 (14 mm) nuts on the top. 2 large nuts/bolts on the bottom forgot the size. very easy. 14mm 17mm 19mm 21mm is all you need
