Interchanging '96 318ti parts with '95 318i
Can it be done?

Depends on what you want to change out. The brakes are totaly different as are the rear suspension (Ti is from an E30). The car is basically a European 1600 with an 1.8 USA engine in it. The front struts I believe are different as well. Spring are totally different. Interiors are different. It's not just a sawed off 318Is. Its a totally different car made with smaller car parts. The 318s enjoy the same brakes as the 325s. They are (318i & Is) are 4 cyl versions of the 325s. That would mean that the drive lines are different here as well, transmissions & rear ends, spring weights & struts. The Ti is all Ti specific.

Some parts can be changed. Not everything.
