Re: Car Comparisons' Car Of The Year 2005 - Nominations (read instructions first!)

1- Saleen S7 Twin Turbo (i skimmed thru peoples answers, and i cant believe i didnt see anyone mention this car)
2- Ford GT
3- Hennessey SRT-10 Viper Venom 1000
Thats the american selection by the way. (since this forum is based in the USA) i would also put the Koenigsegg CCR up there if the hennessey doesnt count.
And those r basically regarding performance. a Rolls Royce Phantom with the extended wheelbase would be a bad ass pimp car

The servers might be based in the US but this is an international forum, with users and cars from all over the world so any car manufacturer regardless is more than welcomed to be nominated. Of course if all 3 cars you prefer happen to American is your prerogative to post them.

Btw tuner cars are not eligible unless considered by a national government as a standalone car such as in the case of Ruf (licensed as a car manufacturer by the German government) whose cars stop being officially Porche after he is done with them.

So the hennesy viper does not apply unless you can provide a link that it is labeled by the government as a distinctive car from the dodge base. Also feel free to edit your post to select a different car from the hennessy otherwise your 3rd option will be dismissed in the final tally.

Re: Car Comparisons' Car Of The Year 2005 - Nominations (read instructions first!)

1. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (3 pts) - What more needs to be said?
2. Chevrolet Cobalt SS (2 pts) - A late entry into the sport compact segment, but worth the wait. The LSJ is one of Ward's Ten Best Engines for 2006.
3. Dodge Magnum R/T (1 pt) - All the muscle you want with the practicality you need. The Hemi is also one of Ward's Ten Best Engines for 2006.

Re: Car Comparisons' Car Of The Year 2005 - Nominations (read instructions first!)

1. Ferrari F430 for doing everything right at a price that isn't unrealistic. 3 pts

2. Bugatti Veyron, because it truly surprised me with how good it was (Well the way people talk it up) 2 pts

3. BMW E90 3 Series- Because not everyone can afford an F430 or a Veyron and this does everything right and few things bad. 1 pt.
