1st: Chevrolet Corvette Z06 - 3 points
2nd: Pontiac Solstice - 2 points 3rd: Jaguar Super V8 - 1 points I voted for the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 as it is amazing. Forget about hp/liter folks...the new LS7 gets 26 mpg on the highway and weighs 71 pounds less than BMW's new 5.0 liter V-10. Plus, the Z06 keeps the weight down. Corvette C6 Z06 I voted for the Pontiac Solstice as it is the coolest Pontiac since the 1970 GTO and handles well. Pontiac has more than 15,000 orders for it. New Pontiac Solstice I voted for the Jaguar Super V8 as its aluminum chassis helps reduce weight and it looks great. New aluminum Jaguar XJ |

2006 Honda Civic Si - 3 Points Honda finally steps up with the performance, and get's rid of the minivan look of their Si.
2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8 - 2 Point Finally, an American car I would actually buy; if I had the $. Ariel Atom - 1 points Supercharged Civic Type R engine, and only weighs around 1800lbs. A Go-kart on steroids, enough said. |

Re: Car Comparisons' Car Of The Year 2005 - Nominations (read instructions first!)
1st - Dodge Ram SRT-10...fastest production pickup, what more could you ask for
2nd - Dodge Viper SRT-10...what more could you ask for, faster than the ford gt and half the cost, plus supercharge it and they put out over 1100hp 3rd - Dodge Charger SRT-8... better than the GP What can I say, I'm a mopar guy. Plus I will admit the F430 is a masterpiece, but I really wouldn't call it much of a production car. |

Nice that M5 will come in manual. And sequential and tiptronic, yes different, but it is still the concept of pushing something or pulling something without any skill to shift the gear.
As said before, manual is superior when comes to ultimate driving experience. The new m5 is nice and all, but it just lacks something to me. I just think it is a bit too advanced, with a bit too much computer stuff. The car is not sensitive to the driver's actions, it just wants to fix everything for you. I miss the old days, when everyone in racing had manual, no stupid rules, just nice cars where race greatly depends on the driver rather than the car. Well, at least it'll come in manual. Will the M6 have a manual tranny?
