Re: Aoshima has a Supercar secret to share... its a M.....

Release date is pushed off until early next year, but Aoshima is adding more engravings to a bland-looking engine room.

Both the kit and detail part set are scheduled to be released in March.

You don't need a Facebook account to view that.

Re: Aoshima has a Supercar secret to share... its a M.....

Aoshima kit is available for pre-orders now. It is 26% off at amiami.com - Y3520 with PE set at Y1320.
I assume everyone have seen photos of their sample by now.

Aoshima says final release kit will be even better then sample. If you have not bought Fujimi curbside yet, I strongly
suggest to get Aoshima kit or kits instead. If you bought Fujimi kit(s) already, get Aoshima kit(s) as well. It is full detail,
accurate and vastly superior over all. Aoshima went great lengths on it's design. They actually got access to read car and
got all required measurements and photos. Do you think Fujimi have done that ? I highly doubt it.

Here are links to kit and PE at amiami.com on-line store. Best discounts on plastic and MM kits I've ever seen at Japanese
on-line stores.

kit - http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=TOY-SCL2-26828&page=
PE set - http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=TOY-SCL2-26829&page=

It's seller #1 at hobby search as well.

Let's make this kit a big success for Aoshima, so they continue and make a full detail F1-GTR short tail for us as well.

Re: Aoshima has a Supercar secret to share... its a M.....

Its a nice kit and I will buy for sure, this is a longtail so I hope they make the shorter gtr version.finding a gtr in 1/24 is a pain, you either settle for a road goinf fujimi which isnt correct to the racing version or expensive multimedia kits.

Re: Aoshima has a Supercar secret to share... its a M.....

Today is the day.

I'm hoping HLJ has already received theirs so they can ship my pre-order out to me in time for my birthday on the 6th of April............. where I can then examine all the parts very closely for the following few days before adding it back into the stash...lol

Regards, Dan

The kits started shipping today, or yesterday, so I would say early next week

Re: Aoshima has a Supercar secret to share... its a M.....

Aoshima's own online store, Hobby World Japan, has already got it for immediate dispatch, but the store stopped overseas operation many years ago.
http://hobbyworld.aoshima-bk.co.jp/A...de=ABK14011009

The kit should be available at usual online stores in a day or two.

From what I've read and seen so far, Aoshima researched the real car very carefully, and assuming the body shape is correct, I can use it as a guide to fix the inaccurate front and rear overhang dimensions of the Fujimi body.
