Question Any one race Karts in the states?

My friends and I have recently gotten into racing karts on this 1 km long gp track near my house. I have a pretty cool kart with a rotax max 125 2 stroke on it. Your ass is only an inch off the ground and you can get about 110 kmph on the straight. It is a total rush. Here in Japan it is pretty popular, and I am wondering if any of you race in the states??

me and polygon go ocasionally here in utah....its fun....its about as close to pure handling as you can get....

btw how hard is to stop yourself from sliding every corner...its so easy in a kart...but messes up your times

The higher grip your tires are, and more engine power helps. I set my front wheels at a really high negative camber, and lean my head in the direction of the turn to assist in body weight. The track record where I race is 35, and I am turning 35.7, so not too bad. We race about once a week.

I'd love to, but there are no tracks where I live.

I don't mess with my suspension yet, still learning how to drive.

Damn, this post came back from the gutter!!!!

Cool! It is the greatest deal for the money when i comes to 4 wheeled vehicles in my opinion. Here is my Kart with the Yamaha engine. I haven't taken any with the rotax on it as of yet, but i have a race this Wed., so I will take some then and post.

Matada, I just noticed something, it does'nt have a shifter. A bit of a noob are we?

*Or is the shifter on the other side since you're in Japan?

Nah. The circuts are too small for a shifter karts. Overall length is only 745m, so by the time you got to 2nd gear, you are out of straight.
