03 Camry window regulator USA/Japan built
I'm trying to order a drivers window regulator for a friend's car and some of them that I find specify USA or Japan built, others don't. I'm assuming its talking about where the car was built. Is there really a difference and some sellers just don't know or are they talking about where the part was made? Obviously I don't want to take her door apart and find out the new regulator doesn't match. I've done some googling without any luck so far, but I'll keep looking when I have time.
Thanks, Dustin |

Re: 03 Camry window regulator USA/Japan built
The first digit of the VIN specifies where the car was built. If it is a "J" then it is a Japanese car.

Thanks Brian,
I finally checked the VIN, starts with a 4 so I guess its built here. |
