turbo a 327 c-20?

I have a 1974 C-20 camper special with a 327. The original owners son rolled a car with a 327 in it, borrowed dads truck and blew up the 350. The dad took the 327 out of the car and put it in the truck. I bought the truck from farmers grand daughter. I tow a gooseneck trailer and would like a little extra power on hills and in the mountains. I would like to put in dual turbos and TBI. I can get tractor turbos for around $250 each. Any ideas?

Re: turbo a 327 c-20?

theres a lot of engineering that goes into turbo's you can't just slap them on and expect everything to work. anyways you want torque not power for towing i'd build a 383 stroker it would be cheaper and easier than adding turbo's. the compression on the 327 is probably to high for turbo's anyway.
