That's a stunning model!

I'm currently working on the decals for that kit at the mo. Having a bit of a nightmare with them as they're quite thin IMO.

I always put the clear coat over the decals now. It gives a better finish me thinks.

Are you gonna put some Carbon Fibre decal on the air intake in the future?

Look forward to more.

Always good to see a Benz finished!!

Very nice work.

How was the fitting of the body? Especially the side skirts at the back, any problems with that?

It have passed some months since I’ve finished my C-Class D2 Mercedes and I still wake up in the middle of the night screaming.
Great work in this decal monster 1204.

now I know why I do that too.!! The progress is far too long on 55%, but I don't get enough sleep at night. Now I know that it are those decals, haha.

Thanks for all the comments...

:silly2: IMO i feel that patient is the key to such decalful project, once you rush it, you will face the consequences...and only cut the decal when you are really to put it on, that why i lost the decal thats on the side mirrors...:finger: :finger: :finger:

For the clear coating part, i search through the forum for the ways to do it... Initially really fear that it will "melt" the decal...

Amazing!
It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to place the dashboard decal on my 1st kit.

Thumbs up

OOps I skipped and didnt see this thread.

Had lotsa laugh with the jokes from the members who posted here.

Anyways, how was the fitting on this merc?
I find many gaps that needs filling on my merc. Is it the same for yours?

Great job on the decals 1204! Love those cloud pics man.

Great car, so wheres the model?

I would like to try a decal job like that one day, but first, I think I should get some decal setting solution.
