Re: Ferrari F50 GT

That's awesome! I have a picture of this beastly car. I can't wait to see this conversion complete.

Re: Ferrari F50 GT

Good subject to start!

i've tried the same on a tamiya kit but i've failed & damaged the body. i hope you can do it!

pay careful attention on all the curves & bulges throughout the racer.
i thought i've studied enough photos of the car, proceed to cut it up & later realised the front bonnet bulge was more pronounced than the F50...too late!

keep posting!

Re: Ferrari F50 GT

Hi,

in my opinion the front holes should get closer to the red line

i think the front holes are ok, a least acording ro this picture. Maybe the shape is not 100% but they are close enough...

Hi,

I think, they are too small on your model, but: it is YOUR model

Re: Ferrari F50 GT

I would try this with THIS kit only, not the Tamiya. If you waste the Revell one it is no loss. You are doing great so far though. What are you going to use for the GT wheels though? I have been trying to source some like that for a while.

Re: Ferrari F50 GT

Hi,

the white sheet shouldn´t sit exactly at the border of the opening, more at the inside like the blue line shows
