won't start

2007 Jeep won't start, checked battery and connection, ok, lights work, says transmission problems

Does the engine turn over if yes. Check for spark and reply back.

My 2001 Jeep cherokee Sport will not start the first time you turn the key , but starts the second time you try . Runs fine .

sounds like a fuel pump leaking check valve
