Question What model car is this glass window for?

Hi,

I have tried to find the car model but have not been very successful.

I have 6 car windows in VGC but have no idea which car they are for?

I worked out it is for a European make. Italy to be exact. Made my pilkington automotive glass.

Below is the only number I can find other than the DOT number.

43r - 007002

Can anyone help me with the exact car model please or how I find it without spending hours online please?

So...to be clear, you have a piece of glass and you want to know what car it fits?

Contacting the glass manufacturer would be my first move.

And post a (small for AF) photo of the thing! Use a digital camera set to lowest resolution, copy to a PC, and upload here

Hi,

Have done so. Both numbers I tried are disconnected. Sent an email but don't know how that will turn out? Thanks

I could only upload via a link. This window is the only only one I have for another make. Another one to come for the other car.

I know! Uploading a photo in here is like tryna get a 4x8' piece of sheetrock in the back of a Pinto!

Try Photobucket or some such

Now I'm curious as to the *why*. So what sort of project is this? To what purpose are you chasing this information? Inquiring minds want to know.

I am trying to find out as I am selling it. I moved into a house that requires at the very least $20.000 in renovations. I found these parts in the house while getting rid of junk.

Thanks! I was interested to find out the motivation behind projects… Hope my contacts helped and you were able to find out!

One other thought that I had, if there are other parts in the house they may have vehicle identification numbers or some sort of serial number that you might be able to look up.

None of your links worked.

Did anyone else here successfully see what Malakai shared?
