Dome Lights

2000 L series. I have already had the recall for tail lights problems fixed.

Now the interior dome, map and rear seat map lights will not come on.

I just noticed it so I am not sure if it is related to the recall stuff.

I was thinking it might be a fuse but cannot locate which fuse is for those lights.
Any thoughts?

Re: Dome Lights

Did you ever figure this one out? I have the same problem with my 2000 LS.

Re: Dome Lights

I'll give that a try. I have been living with the problem for a long time. Should get this one fixed. Thanks for the advice. This has been a great car overall. I am glad to see Penske bought out Saturn. My plan is to buy another Saturn here in a year or so. Hope to get the same 4 cylinder engine. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Dome Lights

I too am having the same problem with the dome light being out. The dome light switch, is that a specific fuse name? I have been unable to locate any fuse that indicates that it is for the dome light.

Thanks!

Re: Dome Lights

I never did fix this. With Saturn going away, I should head down to the dealer and get a switch.

Re: Dome Lights

The dome light switch is right behind the steering wheel, to your left side, no it is not a fuse is a knob, this switch let you control the amount of light in your dash board , and if you don't have any light and you already check your fuses and they are ok, so your dome light switch is fried, in my car I have to replace just that switch, and I see the light again, if you have more question do not hesitate in contact me, I'm happy to help to those who need help.

Re: Dome Lights

Thanks for the information, so if the dash borad lights are working could this still be associated with the dome light no longer working? I will try replacing this and will let you know if it was successful. Thanks!
