Post are gear drives worth it

I wanna get a gear drive. I havent been able to get much info on the pros and cons of it. Will my engine be more efficient. I dont care about the blower noise

your gear drive query

no advantages accept you know that your timing chain wont break.
the point of gear drive is so the timing chain wont stretch.
what engine are you running? have you got high pressure valve springs? or high comp?
may as just use a doubble row timing chain kit.
ps. the cops REALLY hate them, trust me i know.
