Elevation power difference...
I just thought this was weird. I live and drive at 6600feet usually, but when I went to phoenix last week, I sware i got another 15hp. I could floor it in 5th gear at 55, and it felt like I had shifted to 4th. seriously, the tires were lucky at green lights...lol. AND it gets better fuel economy at lower elevations.

That's because when you are closer to sea level there is more air, enabling more fuel to be delivered, equaling more horsepower.
