Re: P0300 Random Misfire 2.4L Quad 4 SOLVED!

Have you narrowed it down to which cylinder is misfiring?

Pull vac line to f/p regulator and check for fuel......

Re: P0300 Random Misfire 2.4L Quad 4 SOLVED!

I know this is a year late but was wondering if you had solved your issue with the miss fire? I have a very similar situation which I have been trying to resolve for a month.

Re: P0300 Random Misfire 2.4L Quad 4 SOLVED!

I registered on here just to thank you to the OP
This is still helping all the way in 2022

I was driving my mothers pontiac grand am 2.4l twincam and suddenly lost power to a cylinder limped it to the parts store had them pull codes and got the P0303 code so went about trouble shooting changed the spark plugs (needed done anyways) checked the coils packs and every other ignition system before hitting a dead end pulling my hair out in the parking lot of the parts store when i came across this post. Never in my life would i have thought about the housing (no visible cracks or defects) but i would have tried anything at this point. So before i decided to get a uber home and a tow to the shop. I asked if they had one in stock. They did i got it less then $40 8 screws later I'm on the road car sounding better then it has in the last 5yrs.
So thank you sir, for still saving the day in 2022
