What's the difference between an S10 and an S15?

You don't see too many S15s around, or at least I don't, but I wondered what the difference was between them and the S10. Methinks the S15 is slightly bigger, and that is all...

No difference besides one says GMC and one says Chevy.

Do they have the exact same motor and the exact same interior and all that? (provided they are the same year model?)

i have a 89 s-10 4.3 and a 89 s-15 4.3 the only differences the i found in the two is the gmc has a 12 gallon gas tank and the s-10 has a 20 gallon tank, put the 20 gal tank in the gmc with no problem the only other thing is the s-10 has carpet and the gmc has a rubber mat

THE S-10, IS A CHEVROLET. THE S-15 IS A GMC. THERE IS "NO" DIFFERENCE IN THEM YEAR FOR YEAR.THE 2.5 4 BANGER IS IDENTICAL. THE 4.3 V6 IS IDENTICAL. INTERIOR IS THE SAME. THERE IS VIRTUALY NO DIFFERENCE IN THESE 2 VEHICLES EXCEPT THE NAME ON THE HOOD.
GO TO A LOCAL JUNKYARD, ASK IF THEY HAVE A " HOLLANDER MANUAL.
CHECK OUT ANYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW. THEY ARE THE VERY SAME VEHICLE.THE S-15 GMC IS NOT BIGGER THAN THE S-10.

/\ capital letters are NOT our friends. Don't type in capitals, please.

The grilles are different and other cosmetics things. No difference on mechanical parts or body parts.

Re: What's the difference between an S10 and an S15?

The only real difference is the tie rod ends and ball joints are bigger for a s10. I own a 1989 gmc s15 and ran into trouble with these parts at the parts stores.
Other than that and previously discussed little stuff that's all Iv found
