Arcing in my tiburon.

Well I recently went on a trip to new york. When I got home I tryed to start up my 1999 Tiburon. Nothing happened, the car didn't even acknowledge that I had the key in the ignition. Alright, somehow my battery was completly drained while I was away. My diagnosis: Someone opened the trunk and didnt close it all the way. I go to a friends house for two days and my parents pick me up a new battery. My mother calls me and says that her boyfriend and his friend both said the car is "arcing". I recently, maybe a week or two before I left, got a small system installed in my car, new deck, amp, and sub. Nothing was wrong at first, but now something is. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Arcing in my tiburon.

take it to the dealership and have them do a drawdown test on your voltage. Then when they find out it was caused by bad wireing from the place you had the system installed, have them reinburse you for the poor installation and Diag fee at the dealer...

been their, done that...
