Shift Lock

My stanza is in park, I can not take it out of park until I manually press down on the shift lock. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Ok- found out the problem was a simple fuse that went out. According to info- check fuse first, then check brake lights and then check sensor behind the brake. So glad it was a simple fix.
