I want to buy a kart!!!

Where would I go to find a good Kart for sale? Nothing crazy, but quick! I don't race, just want another toy to play with. My son will love it too.

I am not sure what all is out there now a days, but I would reccomend something with a OHV Briggs motor on it. Techemsa (or however you spell it) doesn't seem to that that kick or speed. Honda 4 cycles are pretty fast and torquey, but I had a valve break on me. Left a huge cloud of smoke. Some lady pulled over and asked if I was ok.. haha. The valve dropped in the cylinder and went through the head. I just junked the whole motor. The Honda was overhead cam, was very nice, but disappointing at the same time. To buy a go cart new is very $$$

Jim Hall Kart School sells complete karts. I know they are great as we spent quite a bit of time in them at the school.

Re: I want to buy a kart!!!

im getting my kart from a dealer in salt lake city, its called m-squared, and i think they sell a couple different copmanies, but if you want a go kart just for fooling around with, i dont think i would get one of these, i would get sdomething that is meant for offroad use, and thta you could have more fun with, i would say get a honda oddyssey, i've got one, they're kind of hard to find, but when it comes to the best go kart ever biult, its either that one or the honda pilot, and they're biult solid, i've rolled mine quite a couple times on concrete, and the rollcage is as good as new.

there is a link to a honda pilot.

and that is a honda pilot, it may seem like a lot, but a racing go kart is a lot more, compared to those, these things are big deals.
