Question Tachometer installation help

I`m trying to install a tacho on my 93 daihatsu charade, I know where all the cable go, except for the green Tacho wire, Does anyone know the location of the ignition coil or the ECU cable on a daihatsu charade?

Could anyone help me?? Thanks

If I recall, a Daihatsu Charade was a small, basic three cyl. car. If you have an aftermarket electric tachometer, you might have a problem if it is not calibrated for three cyl. Ususally they have a switch for 4, 6, or 8 cyl.

If your car is 4 cyl, just make sure the tach is good for 4 cyl.
Otherwise, look for the spark plug wires and follow them to the distributor. There should be an extra spark plug wire going from the middle of the distributor cap to the ignition coil.
Sometimes the ignition coil is built into the cap.
