What should I do.
I want to do a swap into my A2 jetta. Should I do a 1.8T or a VR6? Let me know on this one!

I'd probably go 1.8t, for the obvious reason of the incredible gains that you'd get with mods over the modest gains in the VR6. That's just my humble opinion though.

That's what I was gonna thinkin. Who knows I need some money first. With the 1.8T the G60 you get more for spending less.

Yo,
The VR6 and 1.8T are close in power... if you want pure power go with the VR6 Transplant, if you want an over all faster car at the top end go with the Turbo... one more thing I wouldn't go with the Turbo unless I had all wheel drive... Chase |

If your looking to race... lighter is always best. If they provide the same amount of power and the VR6 is obviously heavier, choose the inline 4 turbo. If you want fuel economic, the turbo is also smarter. And if you want to be able to modify it like crazy, pick the turbo. But if you want reliability with all natural power, and no intake pressure... pick the VR6. I would put in the 6 because for me, the more cylinders the marrier.
