Cobra Saleen?
There is a car for sale nearby and it has both Cobra bumpers and Saleen markings on the side (decals and side vents). I have never noticed a Cobra Saleen before. Do you think these are just aftermarket bumpers?

There's not such thing as a Cobra Saleen. Just a guy that put emblems and a body kit on his Mustang

There IS such a thing as a Cobra Saleen, but they make very few of them, like 10 a year. The car you are talking about is not one however, because a Cobra Saleen looks like a regular S281 cept it has the Cobra badge on the side.

Here is my question.. is there anything special about the saleen cobra. Cause I have an 04 cobra. I just figured it was a cobra with the saleen kit and a saleen production number.

A Saleen Cobra would be a Cobra with the racecraft suspension, bodykit, rims, borla exhaust, and the interior bits, plus the good old Saleen serial number. The serial number wouldnt normally be such a big deal cept it makes the cars resale value hard to beat, that and when people ask you if its a real Saleen you can say yes instead of saying its just a cobra with a kit.

Man, are you an idiot! The Saleen Cobra is one of the rarest Saleens' built. Other that the R-Code and the Anniversary Editions, their hard to find. But, they do exist! You better do some reading and learn before you speak! http://www.saleenregister.com |
