Obd2 Repair/toss

Hello i have an obd2 reader that stopped working.its an actron pocket scanner.
i ckecked for internal battery...saw none.tried on other cars.is this common??should i just buy another one??its only 1 yr old not used much. thanks for comments

sometimes if its not used properly you can damage the circuit board inside. If you plug it in too many times with the key on instead of the car off it will take its toll. Happened at my friends shop. Luckily they aren't too expensive. If you want to go all out snap on has the best scan tools.
