I've used the paint on both plastic and fabric
here's some interior parts from my mazda that I did

the seat

and my cousin's interior that we're working on for his civic

pros-looks really cool if done right, repels stains and easier to clean than fabric
cons-really cold in cold weather, hot and stretchy in hot weather, is a bitch if you get a cut in it

so for the plastics i pretty much take them out if possible, clean them with soapy water and then apply a couple coats of primer. Then let the primer dry and apply as many coats of paint as i think is needed.....let that dry completely and then apply the finish?

what kind and year is your car? and yeah, that would be a great idea, and if they turn out great the first time, just use those ones on your car.

Right now the car is stock black but im hoping to get it painted with like 7 clear coats and match that to the interior and accent it with the silver/grey and use blue neon in the footwells, under the seats and leds in the climate controls and any other lights in or on the car.
