It'll go in this:

As you can see, the bare wires that once connected to my departed amp...

Re: So the XXX came in a lot earlier than expected...

i'd just like to show off my enclosure design skills....

the box i will be building for my hopefully soon to come Avalanche 15. incase anyone is wondering. on the side shot all the little lines are there because it is going to be flush mounted then covered with a thing sheet of some type of smooth wood. this will help with security and i am going to flare the vents slightly to lower tuning a tad and to reduce the port length needed. it will also be molly boted to the flooor boards. id pay the person that could get that speaker out in less than the 10-15min it would take me to get out of class and head out to the parking lot to whoop your ass. im going to get a massage everyday, it will be right (and when i mean right i mean RIGHT) behind my seat. i mean with just enough room between the seat and cone so that the cone doesnt hit the seat at peak Xmax.

Re: So the XXX came in a lot earlier than expected...

thanks for the price Manny, and bumpinstang, I know what you mean about the prices for box plans, I do way to much computer troubleshooting (use to!!), and upgrades and shit like that, for free except parts. Now i charge, and i like it alot better because I don't have as many people wanting me to do shit!!!!!!!....(i know, it has no reference what so ever....)
Oh and I wouldn't have a problem paying you a little $$$ for some box plans, that is if i didn't already have some...(ones off of RE audio's site)

I know what you mean CBFryman, as soon as I get my SE and box, together, that mofo is gonna be bolted down to my truck so if anyone is going to steal it, they are gonna have to work damn hard to get it out of there.....

Re: So the XXX came in a lot earlier than expected...

port area=long ports, long ports=un able to use round ports, un able to use round ports=sloted ports, sloted ports=longer ports with more enclsoure displacement. well im trying to still be bale to use one of my jump seats... ill play around. thoes 2 3" ports give 91cm^2 port area. ya your right. at peak xmax the ports will have to move over 2m....port noise galore. i may just have to give up both rear seats...that or someone will have to cram in the rear seat. or i could go sealed...i dunno
