Time for them to put a new livery on this one since 16R is back.
Would love to see the Hollywood livery from the Brazil non-championship races reappear, or the FINA Presentation livery that this originally wore. #pipedream >8^) ER |

Yes, briefly 08R wore a slightly different variation of the FINA presentation livery.
16R has joined XP3, 053, 25R (when MSO finishes it) and quite likely 56XPGT as well in a Swiss collection. >8^) ER |

I can't say I feel bad at all with their current F1 woes given how they're treating their own history by selling it off like that. It's sad the car will now be locked away in a garage likely never to be seen again unlike when it was at the factory making an occasional appearance. And given the strict driving laws in Switzerland, it will probably never get a chance to stretch its legs on the roadways. Maybe it will make an appearance every 10 years or so at a McLaren Owners Club.  |
